Last Wednesday, we went to the fire station to learn about the work that firemen do and how the service works. The trip was part of a program called Junior Achievement which teaches children about their local community. When we arrived at the station we met Sharon, Jack, Paddy and Neil. They showed us around. We got inside the fire truck, tried on fire clothes and even used the fire hose! We also got fire safety packs before we left. Thank you very much to all the people working in the fire station and to Sharon from Wexford County Council for organizing the trip.
