This week in Rainbow 3, our baking day was the same day as Pancake Tuesday! So I think you know what we made... mmm pancakes! We walked up to the shop and got all of our ingredients to make them. We all helped by taking turns pouring the flour and milk into the bowl, cracking the eggs and stirring the mixture up. Once the pan frying fan was ready, we watched our teacher pour the mixture on, to make the pancakes! We had a choice of lemon, sugar and nutella as toppings and cut them up to eat. We were each given a page with pictures of all of the steps of the recipe for the pancakes on it, but there was one problem - they were all mixed up! So we had to get our scissors and cut them out. We then stuck them onto a piece of coloured card in the correct order! Now we are able to explain how to make pancakes! :)
