Today, Rainbow 2 and 3 went on their trip to Tesco for a treasure hunt! We got off the bus in the car park and we walked around the block first before going in to the supermarket. We had a lovely walk and got in just in time before it started to rain! The children were each given a task card with three items on it which they had to find. Once they found one of their items, they had to stick a star beside it and when all three items were found, they could go in to the café and order and pay for something small to eat/drink. Today, Rainbow 2 and 3 went on their trip to the library. We all sat around in a circle while one of the librarians read us lots of nice stories. We sang some songs too and then we had a look at all of the books in the children's section. After the library, we went out to the Wildfowl Reserve to look at all of the geese and ducks. We had a great day!

Congratulations to Carima Murphy from Rainbow 3 who won two gold medals for the backstroke  in the Special Olympics swimming competition last weekend. She is a fantastic swimmer and we are all so proud of her here in Scoil Mhuire. Best of luck to Carima in her next competition.
