Our numeracy skills are really improving as a result of fun activities that we do in our classroom. Ms. Hayden, Mr. Hayes, Ms. Murphy and Ms. Walsh organise lots of fun games and activities to do with us. We really enjoy working individually, in small groups and in pairs. We have been learning how to combine numbers. We use the language and, make, altogether, is the same as, add and equals. We now use the + and = signs. Our teacher is so proud of us.  Have a look at us having lots of fun while learning.

This month we have been very busy learning about transport. We have explored transport vocabulary, sorted and classified types of transport on different criteria. We discussed road safety and identified the role of people who keep us safe in the community- police, firefighters, lollipop person etc. We drew and labelled different types of transport and designed our own vehicles. Have a look at us having lots of fun!b2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7746.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7743.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7744.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7746_20170329-131628_1.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7747.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7748.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7749.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7750.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7751-1.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7752.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7753.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7754.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7755.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7758.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7759.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7760.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7744_20170329-131710_1.JPG

We really enjoyed our trip to Rosslare to see the Stenaline boat. The bus driver drove the bus onto the boat. When we got off the bus, we met some of the crew and workers. They were so kind. A lady brought us on a tour of the boat. She then brought us to the restaurant where we had our lunch. We got to have chocolate croissants. They were yummy. After our lunch, we went to meet the captain. His name was Simon. He was really nice and he answered any questions we had and showed us around the captains deck. We even got to look out to sea through binoculars. We had so much fun. Have a look at us.b2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7333.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7334.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7335.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7337.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7340_20170323-143711_1.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7342.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7344.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7345.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7347.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7351.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7357.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7363.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7360.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7364.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7367.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_Image-1-1.jpgb2ap3_thumbnail_Image-1.jpgb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7374.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7380.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7382.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7386.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7389_20170323-143829_1.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_7393.JPG
