1: Gairdín Cuimhneacháin: --- Our special Remembrance Garden outside the Reception area is dedicated to former pupils, staff and parents of Scoil Mhuire who have passed away. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a n- anamnacha.
2: Our Sensory Garden: --- is located beside the play ground at our ASD unit. This garden is in the shape of a butterfly. Representing the various patterns on the butterfly are the pond, the bio diversity body and circular beds containing plants that appeal to the 5 senses. This garden has been renovated during the summer ‘14. There is a very popular willow tunnel in this garden. This is the garden with the plastic tunnel for sowing and planting. Thanks to a very successful pumpkin sale (pumpkins kindly donated by Ballycross Apple Farm) this area is about to be made even more comfortable with the installation of a beautiful picnic table.
3: Our Woodland Garden: --- This is located behind the Junior Infant classrooms. There are several species of native trees in this garden and a raised wooden walkway. This walkway leads to a woodland cottage. There is also a performing/ barbecue area which is currently occupied by an aeroplane!! This garden has provided the setting for mini films.
