Last Monday members of Clonard Gaa club visited Scoil Mhuire to present medals to the first class boy's and girls. The children had been attending hurling coaching with the Clonard coaches for the past couple of months. Mick Power, Mick Lyng, Robert Tierney and Brendan Benson represented the club. They also made a presentartion to Ms. Scully on her retirement. This Friday sees a fun day for all children up to 5th taking place in Clonard GAA pitch. Each class starting with infants will get a coaching session followed by some treats. Feel free to call to the pitch for a look and to talk to some club members about your child getting involved.

Afterwards they were shown how to make these games fair and inclusive. All the children really enjoyed themselves and will hopefully do a follow up course in September.
