November Aistear in Ms. O'Grady's class - The Doctor's Clinic

In Junior Infants A we have been learning about The Doctor.  We learned the names of the instruments the doctor uses.  We also learned about nurses, paramedics, first Aid, clinics and hospitals.

We enjoyed being doctors, nurses and patients in our role play area. We made our own clinic which had a reception, a waiting room and the doctor's office.  We read x-rays, gave injections, did babies' check ups and prescribed medicines.

We turned our doll house into a hospital. We made wards, a waiting room, an ambulance bay and a playroom for children

We also built our own clinics and hospitals in our Construction area with blocks and lego.b2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_2825.JPGb2ap3_thumbnail_IMG_2826.JPG
