Scoil Mhuire's new Savings Scheme, in conjunction with Wexford Credit Union, got off to a great start this morning. We would like to thank the Parents/Guardians of our existing savers who returned their child's 'blue form'. The 'blue form' allowed your child to move from the old Scoil Mhuire Savings Scheme to the new one with Wexford Credit Union. The balance on your child's account will be updated automatically in the next week or so to reflect the savings your child brought with them from the old Scoil Mhuire Savings Scheme.
Wexford Credit Union staff will visit Scoil Mhuire every Thursday morning. If your child wishes to save, all they need do is bring in their new WCU Savings Book with the money they wish to lodge to their account. Please make sure that the lodgement slip in their book has been completed.
A few important points to note:
1. If your child is an existing saver, and you haven't returned their 'blue form', you can still drop it into Michelle in the office.
2. If, at a later point, your child wishes to withdraw money from their account, e.g. for their school tour, they can request to withdraw on a Thursday morning and the payment will be available to them the following week.
3. If your child was a saver under the old Scoil Mhuire Savings Scheme and you don't wish them to transfer to the new scheme, please provide a written request to withdraw their savings to Michelle in the office.
4. If your child hasn't been a saver with the School Savings Scheme before and would like to join up, Wexford Credit Union staff will provide all the information you need.Last modified on
