Welcome Back to School
As the school Summer holidays are coming to an end, we’d like to extend a very warm welcome back to school to our pupils, and an extra special welcome to the children joining us for the first time. Below are a few important reminders regarding the return to school.
- School Reopening Date & Time
Scoil Mhuire will reopen for all pupils on Wednesday 30th August. Children will start school at 8.50am, except for Junior Infants who will begin at the later time of 9.30am on Wednesday 30th August only. Junior Infants will go home at 11.15am on Wednesday 30th August to Tuesday 5th September. Senior Infants will go home at 1.30pm each day and 1st to 6th Classes at 2.30pm.
- School Lunches
Freshtoday morning snacks and hot school lunches will begin on Monday 4th September for Senior Infants to 6th Class. Your child should bring their own healthy lunch on Wednesday 30th & Thursday 31st August and Friday 1st September. Morning snacks and hot lunches will be available to Junior Infants from Monday 25th September. Please remember that lunch choices for your child can be made via the Freshtoday website up to Thursday at 6pm for the following week.
- School Materials €20 Fee
If your child’s €20 School Materials Fee remains outstanding, it can be paid securely online via Aladdin. If you experience any difficulty accessing Aladdin, you can pay the fee in cash at the school office from Monday 28th August. You will receive a receipt for your cash payment and your child’s Aladdin record will be updated.
- Sunny Days Afterschool
Sunny Days will resume its morning service (from 7.45am) and afterschool service (from 1.30pm to 5.30pm) on Wednesday 30th August. You can contact Sunny Days directly via Facebook, (089) 257 4333 or sunnydaysas@gmail.com.
