Amazing news… we are so proud of our wonderful pupil, Annie from 6th Class, who was crowned Eason Spelling Bee 2024 All-Ireland Champion.
Her family, teacher and class travelled to the Helix at DCU on Thursday 6th June 2024 to support her as she faced off against tough competitors from Galway and Tipperary. All of the children did a super job, but Annie emerged victorious with ‘sanctimonious’ being her winning word.
As winning bee, Annies will get a selection of books for our school library valued at €7,500 and will also receives a goodie bag packed of books worth €500 for herself.
Words cannot express how very proud everyone at Scoil Mhuire is of Annie.
