Lámh Day! – 15th October 2025
Hi everyone,
We are delighted to announce that Lámh Day is Wednesday, 15th October 2025 – the theme this year is: Share the Lámh.
October is also AAC Awareness Month, and to celebrate, the children in Rainbow made a special video explaining what AAC means and how they communicate using AAC.
Please watch this video with your class at 9.10 am tomorrow, we will remind you over the intercom. It would be great if the whole school could watch it together. You can send me any comments your class would like to share or videos, or pictures of your class using Lámh or AAC.

Have a look at our new Lámh board in the hall. We have some posters that might be helpful for Maths Week [numbers and colours] and lots of useful signs you could share with your class. Share a Lámh ‘Hello’ with your teachers and friends, sing songs with Lámh Sign – there are some free to access Lámh A Song Nursery Rhymes available to download or watch an episode of Dizzy Deliveries on the RTÉ Player.
