Scoil Mhuire encourages all our parents to actively engage in our vibrant school life.

Our Home School Community Liaison (HSCL) Coordinator, Eimear Mooney, is a designated teacher in our school who works in partnership with our parents/guardians to encourage the best outcomes for all the children in our school community. Eimear is part of the team that supports families throughout their time in Scoil Mhuire.

Meeting with parents/guardians is a core part of the role of the HSCL Coordinator and the main purpose, at all times, is to improve educational outcomes for the child.

Every year, our HSCL Coordinator organises parent classes and in-school activities for parents, supports families as their child moves through the education system, and makes home visits to get to know our parents and families.
