Madeira Erasmus+ Trip 2026
In February 2026, Ms Cullen, Ms Sinnott and Ms Lacey travelled to Madeira as part of the Erasmus+ programme.
During their week abroad, they participated in a specialised course with a focus on wellbeing, creativity and outdoor learning. The course explored practical and innovative approaches to supporting pupil wellbeing, fostering creativity in the classroom, and making the most of outdoor environments as meaningful learning spaces.
The experience provided valuable time to reflect on practice, collaborate with educators from across Europe, and gather practical strategies to enhance teaching and learning within our school. From creative wellbeing initiatives to engaging outdoor learning methodologies, the course offered a wide range of inspiring and hands-on ideas.
As is customary following Erasmus+ mobility experiences, the learning from this course will continue to inform and enrich teaching and learning within our school, with key ideas and approaches shared in the months ahead.
This mobility was funded by Erasmus+ through the European Union.
