Partnership Schools Ireland (PSI) is an initiative designed to improve student outcomes by bridging the gap between schools, families, and the wider community. PSI is based on the research of Dr. Joyce Epstein, the programme recognises that children thrive best when these three pillars of their lives overlap and work together.
In Scoil Mhuire we have a PSI team, the groups is called an ‘Action Team for Partnerships (ATP)’, the group works together to create a supportive environment that boosts academic success, social well-being, and confidence for the entire school community.
Each year, the ATP leads the work on four goals. These are:
- Two academic goals
- One behavioural goal
- One “climate of partnership” goal
